*Up for sale here is a very scarce and earlier footed base hand blown western seltzer bottle, from Cleveland, Ohio. It shows a picture of a winged staff, going through the "S". This example is in very good shape, as seen here. Siphon has seen some minor wear, and a few small pings on the base. The old glass is clean. This siphon bottle would date from about 1900 to 1910. See pictures.
*It is written within an etched round circle, as it reads (advertises) ~ "SYLLA BOTTLING CO. / Trade Mark (winged staff motif) / Registered / CLEVELAND, OHIO". On the base it is etched ~ "Made in Austria". The metal spritzer top reads ~ "Progressive Bott. Wks.". The top is removable, and will be removed for safer shipping purposes. The glass tube will also be included of course. This example from Ohio measures 12 inches tall, with the removable top attached, and 4 inches in diameter. You will be pleased with this wonderful piece of seltzer and soda bottling history. Would dress up any classic old bar or steam punk set up.
